Cancellation / Rescheduling Policy

At Naturally Equisavvy Solutions, every appointment is reserved especially for you and your horse. As a small business, appointment times are limited and often in high demand. When a booking is cancelled without adequate notice, it means another client misses the opportunity to schedule that time.

I completely understand that life happens and unexpected situations arise. This policy is simply in place to help keep the schedule running smoothly and to support the sustainability of this small business.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Guidelines

  • 48 hours notice or more – No charge. Your appointment can be cancelled or rescheduled at no cost.

  • 24 - 48 hours notice – A fee of 1/2 your lesson cost +HST will be required before future bookings can be made.

  • Same-day cancellations or missed appointments – The full session fee +HST will be required before future bookings can be made.

This policy is not personal; it is simply part of the agreement when scheduling an appointment and helps ensure fairness for all clients who are waiting for available times.

Your understanding and support allow Naturally Equisavvy Solutions to continue providing quality instruction and services while keeping pricing accessible for everyone who wants to learn and grow with their horses.

If NES cancels a session due to unforeseen circumstances, the session will be made up in the near future. No refunds will be issued.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support.  I look forward to building a positive future together — naturally.

AS A CLIENT - WHAT DO YOU NEED?

  • A desire to want to learn and grow your emotional and physical health with the assistance of equines.

  • A polite attitude. No offensive or vulgar attitude will be permitted. If any form of abuse occurs, NES will end the session, leave the premises and will not return or offer further services until a heartfelt apology has been issued.

  • A commitment to attend all sessions/packages time slots.

  • ASTM approved helmets must be worn by everyone.  ASTM-approved riding helmets will be on hand by NES, at no extra charge, for the first 4 sessions (for students who do not have their own).  Request the use of an NES helmet at the time of booking your session.

  • While equipment and attire designed specifically for the equestrian sport is recommended for both the comfort and safety of riders, New Clients in their first 4 sessions, may start out wearing:

    • Properly fitting boots that must have a slight heel (approx 1/4 inch).

    • Long comfortable pants.

    • Form fitting shirts, sweaters, jackets (not excessively baggy/lose fitting).

  • After the first 4 sessions, clients will begin performing more complicated skills and at higher speeds. For maximum comfort and safety, we ask clients to have their own ASTM approved Helmet, proper equestrian boots and any other items necessary to continue).  New and/or gently used equipment can be purchased at various local Tack stores or online.

  • No chewing gum or anything in clients mouth (example: candy, suckers, etc.).

  • No loose fitting or excessive jewelry.

  • Hair tied away from their face.

  • During cold weather, layering (long underwear/under armor) is essential. Gloves (as opposed to mittens) and warm boots with at least a 1/4" heel are also required. For beginners, winter boots (not too wide) with a slight heel will do the job. For more advanced riders, winter riding boots are STRONGLY encouraged.
