PEMF (Pulsed Electromagnetic Field) therapy for horses is a non-invasive, drug-free treatment that uses low-frequency electromagnetic waves to stimulate cellular repair. By "exercising" the cells, it promotes circulation, relieves pain, and accelerates healing from injuries, muscle soreness, and joint conditions. 

 

How It Works

PEMF works on the principle of electromagnetic induction. 

  • Cellular Recharge: As the electromagnetic pulses pass through the horse’s body, they induce a tiny electrical charge in the cells. 

  • Metabolism Boost: This stimulation makes cell membranes more permeable. Cells can more easily take in oxygen and vital nutrients while expelling toxins and waste.

  • Nervous System Regulation: PEMF has been shown to stimulate the vagus nerve, which helps shift the horse's body into a "rest and digest" state, reducing anxiety and stress.

What a Treatment Looks Like

Treatments use a portable, high-powered, specialized machine that effects the full-body. The pulses penetrate deep into the muscles and bones without the horse feeling pain, making it a relaxing experience for the animal.

Cancellation / Rescheduling Policy

At Naturally Equisavvy Solutions, every appointment is reserved especially for you and your horse. As a small business, appointment times are limited and often in high demand. When a booking is cancelled without adequate notice, it means another client misses the opportunity to schedule that time.

I completely understand that life happens and unexpected situations arise. This policy is simply in place to help keep the schedule running smoothly and to support the sustainability of this small business.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Guidelines

  • 48 hours notice or more – No charge. Your appointment can be cancelled or rescheduled at no cost.

  • 24 - 48 hours notice – A fee of 1/2 your sesson cost +HST will be required before future bookings can be made.

  • Same-day cancellations or missed appointments – The full session fee +HST will be required before future bookings can be made.

 

This policy is not personal; it is simply part of the agreement when scheduling an appointment and helps ensure fairness for all clients who are waiting for available times.

Your understanding and support allow Naturally Equisavvy Solutions to continue providing quality PEMF services while keeping pricing accessible for everyone who wants to maintain their horses health.

If NES cancels a session due to unforeseen circumstances, the session will be made up in the near future. No refunds will be issued.

FAQs about NES PEMF Services

  • ALL PEMF sessions are booked on per event basis.

  • ALL clients must complete a waiver form prior to any service being given.

  • All clients are strongly recommended to have Prince Edward Island Horse Council (or other Provincial Equestrian) insurance.  Available HERE

  • NES carries $5M Certificate of Insurance.

​AS A CLIENT - WHAT DO YOU NEED?

  • A polite attitude. No offensive or vulgar attitude will be permitted. If any form of abuse occurs, NES will end the session, leave the premises and will not return or offer further services until a heartfelt apology has been issued.

  • A commitment to be present for all sessions time slots.

  • An understanding that NES will not diagnose any phyical or mental conditions but is only offering a muscle stimulation service to assist your horse's health.
